THE PHOTOGRAPHER

Lou was born in Bayamon, Puerto Rico and graduated from Yale University with honors. He has been working in the film and photography industries for over 30 years.

Lou has held positions from Art Director to Senior Creative Director at major advertising agencies from Grey Advertising, to Saatchi & Saatchi and Lawerence Charles Free & Lawson. He worked on multi-national accounts such as Revlon, Clairol, McDonald’s, Bristol Meyers, Air France, Timex, Canon, Nikon, American Express, General Foods and Toyota.. Included in his many responsibilities have been numerous experiences abroad, solving creative situations for international clients. Fashion and highly stylized image campaigns hallmark his work.

Lou has been honored with national and international film awards, such as the Hollywood Radio and Television Society International Broadcast Award, the CLIO, the Art Director Award, Addy Awards, One Show Awards, and countless others.

Lou’s advertising career afforded him the opportunity to begin directing TV commercials, which resulted in his membership in the Director’s Guild of America. He further explored the world of directing by accepting an offer from Michael Eisner to work in Los Angeles on a Disney series called Boy Meets World as a director trainee. Additionally, while in Los Angeles, Lou directed and photographed numerous music videos and commercial projects.

In 1990, Lou established Fiddler Films, a video production company based in Naples, Florida. Here, Lou produced and directed original short films, TV commercials, and videos for the real estate development industry. These projects resulted in billions of dollars in real estate sales across the South Florida region.

Lou is also an accomplished painter; his works are in many private collections around the world.
